Downy Mildew
What is Downy Mildew
Downy Mildew is caused by the fungus.
Downy Mildew will appear as tiny yellow dots on the tops of your plant’s leaves and as a fluffy white substance underneath the leaves.
Downy Mildew (Kevda) (ಬಯಲು ಮೇಡಿನ ಶಿಲೀಂಧ್) can be controlled by using the following solutions:
Solution : 1
Ingredients:
Papaya 
Moringa leaf
- 2 Kg Leaves of Papaya
- 2 Kg Leaves of Nugge/ Moringa.
Papaya leaves moringa (drumstick) leaves Paste
Preperation:
- Take 2 Kg Leaves of Papaya
- Take 2 Kg Leaves of Nugge /Moringa (drumstick)
- Make Paste (chatni) of the leaves using sil-batta. (Stone grinder or Mixer)
- Put this Paste (chatni) of leaves in 4 liters of water.
- Let it ferment overnight.
- In the morning filter the solution using cloth and mix it with 200 Liters of water.
Usage:
Spray the solution.
This is for 1 acre.
Solution 2:
Ingredients:
buttermilk 
Jeevamrutha 
Water
- 15 Liters of Jeevamruta
- 5 Liters of sour butter milk
- 200 Liters of water
Preparation:
- Mix 15 Liters of Jeevamrutha
- 5 Liters of sour butter milk
- 200 Liters of water
Usage:
- Spray the solution.
- This is for 1 acre.
